Not necessarily. You can use Anna's Archive for ebooks and audiobooks, Z-Library for ebooks, or LibriVox for public-domain audiobooks, without any indexer. For the widest selection, Prowlarr, Jackett or NZBHydra2 is recommended.

No. Beta store integrations only show eligible offers and send you to the seller. Shelfarr never receives card details, store passwords or order information.
Yes, as an explicit beta opt-in. Run one manual sync first, enable scheduled sync, then enable automatic backup. The next successful manual or scheduled sync refreshes a no-download baseline. Only purchased audiobooks first discovered by later syncs are queued. The existing library is separate: after the first sync, Shelfarr asks whether to queue a confirmed, conservatively filtered background batch. Subscriptions, local matches, identity conflicts and prior attempts are excluded, and progress is managed from Library while Libation processes one title at a time.
Shelfarr provides the management and import integration around a separate, pinned Libation companion. Libation remains an independent GPL-3.0 project and is credited throughout the feature.
